The purpose and responsibility of the Nursing Committee is to provide medical assistance to worshippers who become ill or incapacitated during worship services or scheduled gatherings at the church.  Other duties include coordinating workshops on health issues to educate the church body and community and maintaining first aid supplies and equipment for use by worshipers in the nurses' station.  The committee also promotes First Place, a Christ centered weight loss program that emphasizes balance in the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual areas of life.
